This chapter talks about the date between Strandlater and Jane. Strandlater walks to the bathroom to shave for his date with Jane and Holden follows him. Strandlater tells Holden that he has a date with her and Holden tells him that he knew a Jane very well back when he lived at home. Strandlater asks Holden to write a paper while he is out on his date.
I think this chapter was better than the last one because I think that there will be some conflicts between Strandlater and Holden because of the fact that Strandlater is going out on a date with Jane.
