Holden meets up with Ackley and Mal Brossard and they all go to the movie. They realized during the movie that they have already seen it and they decide to go pinball and eat some burgers. Then Holden goes back to his room and goes right into writing that paper that Strandlater asks him to write. Holden writes about Allie, his brother, who has died, and a glove that he used to play baseball. The baseball glove has poems written on it so that he wouldn't get bored while he was playing.
I think that it was funny that Allie decided to write poems on his glove so that he wouldn't get bored. That glove means a lot to Holden and I can see why.
