Holden is still wanting to find something to do. He decides to go downstairs in the hotel to the Lavender Room. This is a dance club that sells drinks too. He wants to order a coctail but the waitress refuses to get him one. He thought that he would have been able to because of his height and his gray hair. He finds 3 girls and he dances with them and then pays for their drinks and goes upstairs to his room all by himself.
I wonder if Holden looks young or old. I would think if he is 6' 2'' and has gray hair, that would trick me.
