Holden finally calls Jane, but no one answers, so he hangs up the phone. So then, Holden decides to call his friend Carl. He likes talking to Carl because he thinks that Carl is smart. To pass the time till him and Carl go out for drinks, he goes to a movie, by the way, he doesn't like it. Then he goes to the bar right afterward to wait for Carl.
It's good that he is going to talk to someone, but i don't think that it should be over a couple beers.
