Holden is falling apart. He goes into Ackley's room and wakes him up. He starts asking him a bunch of questions. He gets really mad and he goes back to his room and packs his bag and walks out of the school. While walking out he says " sleep tight ya morrans".
I can't even imagine what Holden is going through. He doesn't have any support from anyone. He is torn apart because Jane is going out with other guys and he just wants her for himself.
