Holden takes a cab to a club so he can see Ernie play the piano. There, he sees someone he knows. Her name is Lillian. She used to go out with his brother, but he doesn't like her very much. He says that she is annoying, so he leaves just to make sure that he doesn't have to sit at the same table as her.
I doubt if Lillian was really that bad, I bet that he didn't like her very much because she isn't Jane.
