He goes on a walk and he is trying to think of a way he can talk to his sister, Phoebe, without his parents knowing that he is home. He remembers that she wants a record and he goes out and buys if for her. He asks a girl at the park if she would know where she is and she knows her but she doesn't know where she would be. She suggests the museum because that's where they go sometimes on Saturdays. Holden gets to the museum but decides not to go in because he is too depressed.
I think that it is good that Holden wants to talk to his sister, but i think that if he has the chance to talk to his parents, he should do that as soon as possible.
